Testimonials![]() Hey Lee, this is Suzy I adopted Geronimo, aka "Diego" from you a little over a year ago and I just wanted to give you an update on his progress. Geronimo lives in a house now with a large wooded back yard where he's free to roam both inside and out. He also has a small creek where he loves to terrorize the small fish and turtles that attempt to relax in the cool water . He's such a water dog! There nothing greater to him then playing cathch in the river out on the ranch! He has completed a rigorous two month training program which I have found to be very successful. He is no robot, but very wellmannered and respectful of all people and his environment. I get compliments constantly on his relaxed, non aggressive demeanor towards humans and other dogs, and even on his ability to play catch! It seems most German Shepherds never want to let go of the ball and make their owners chase them around; we never had this problem ... His eating, much like his mothers finicy. I've managed to keep him on a weekly bath schedule to ensure he stays comfortable. Overall his temperment is unlike any other shepherd my mom has ever seen. He is not in the least bit aggressive. When other dogs approach him with questionable intentions, he remains very calm and always finds a break in the tention to run towards me and separate himself from the situation. I live with two other girls and he's very protective of his "women" He knows when we're all at the house and when one or two of us may be missing, therefore if all three of us are home and he hears the door open his ears pop up and he imediately begins to investigate. However, if he knows only two
of us are home and he hears the door open he runs over to cheerfully greet whoever is comming home. He loves children and has even been used to see if families could adopt a shepherdor if their young children would be to frightened. Families have asked if we could come over and let Geronimo have a play date with their kids because even the roughest play or loudest cries don't seem to bother him. If you can't already tell , I am extremely happy with my pup and love him more then anyyhing I have ever had. He's taught me so much and everday together is a new adventure. Although I never intended to breed him, in the past months I have begun to think more about it as I have had a few people inquire about puppies claiming they would be more then happy to wait a couple years if it meant having a beautiful, strong goofy pup just like Geronimo. I've noticed his registation with AKC is limmited prevents him from breeding and was wondering if there is anyway to reverse this. Please let me know if there is a certain reason why we should not breed or any other concerns you may have. Thanks so much I hope to hear from you soon! Just wanted to let you know just how pleased we are with our newest family member "Buster"
He is a beautiful little dog, healthy, growing like a weed and very sociable. We are working through the "terrible twos", nips and bites, but making great progress. He is great on potty training, almost no accidents.
Thank you for such a great addition to our lives. He is obviously very well-bred.
Here we are, caught when we were not lookin!
